Approach
For me, museums are places where people meet, participate, and collectively shape culture. In my curatorial practice, I translate this into concrete work by building relationships between the museum and its surrounding community.
Accessibility, participation, and collaboration are central to my approach. At Gällivare Kulturmuseum, I have strengthened the museum’s role as a local cultural platform through collaborations with artists, cultural associations, and local practitioners. I focus on developing long-term, sustainable museum practices through curatorial and organisational work. This includes leading more than 50 temporary exhibitions and expanding the annual Spring Exhibition from 22 to 59 participating artists.
